Supporting Vulnerable Populations
At MUDI Asbl, we provide services and support for vulnerable groups such as war-displaced individuals, unmarried mothers, minors, pregnant girls, people with disabilities, and people living with AIDS. Our goal is to offer a helping hand to those who need it the most.
2024 Actions

CEO
My name is Michael Ibanzi. I was born in East African country called Burundi and grew up in Tanzania as a refugee.
Growing up in a refugee camp and experiencing life with so many struggles is what gave me the passion to help others. I told myself that if I ever had the opportunity to make a difference, I would take time to help, and that's when I started MUDI ASBL in 2023.
MUDI ASBL is a non-profit organization based in Goma, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where our goal and mission are to support people who are going through hard times. We help families who the recent war has displaced, single mothers, orphaned children, people with disability, those who are living with the HIV/AIDS, and young girls who were forced into prostitution because they didn't have any other way to survive. Most of them are only 14 and 16 years old. We give them a small amount of money, such as $15 to $20, to start selling fruit, allowing them to earn an income in more safer and respectful way.
In addition, for MUDI to reach more people, hospitals, and communities, we need all the support we can get. We believe that with the right support, even small donations, we can expand these efforts. Your contribution would directly go toward food packages, school supplies, and medical needs for all those in need
